July 17th was a very important day for me. It's very important to me because that was the day when I brought my tablet. It's officially been a year I got my 3x4 inch graphire 4 tablet. It's really small and cheap compared to an intuos, but it's still working well, yay :=

Here's a lineup of what I have done since July 17th, 2007:

1)Got a graphire 4 3x4 tablet
2)Got Illustrator CS2
3)Learned how to color by
4)Downloaded Opencanvas 1.1, improved from there
5)Tried to experiment with different methods.. Drew some good stuff, others not so good. I learned from my mistakes (part of the improving process)
6)After about 10 months of using OC 1.1, decided to download Photoshop 7 after pushed me to do so.
7)Updated a lot of my fakemon
8)Got a new character reference

Photoshop 7 is SOOOO MUCH better than OC 1.1. It can do cleaner lineart, and the general polish of my coloring is far superior than OC 1.1. Thus I'm glad to use PS7 instead of OC :]

Anyways, I think it's very important to have anniversaries like this. It allows me to recall my experiences as I've improved; for example, my experiences from making mistakes, and my experiences from discovering a completely new technique that I eventually used frequently. It also shows how much I've improved, and how I can improve after another year. Therefore, having such anniversaries are important. :]

So uhh, cherish your tablet (if you have any) and remember the experiences you had with it. After a year of using it, try to recall your experiences... there will be a lot of them.
